Zombie Hunters: City of the Dead - COMING TO YOU LIVE ON CABLE TELEVISION!

Yes, you read it right! This Thursday, January 24, at 11:30 PM, Queens Cable Channel 35 will premiere ZOMBIE HUNTERS: CITY OF THE DEAD!

Stay up and watch it - but if you have to TiVO it, set it for "The City Of The Dead", because for some reason that's how they have it listed.

If you have RCN, it's a different channel but the same time (we're pretty sure it's Channel 83) - but by all means, please watch and let us know what you think. And if ya miss it, it'll be on again Monday the 28th at 11pm.

For everyone else, we're working hard to get the show to Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Da Bronx, as well as Nassau and Suffolk counties. But you could always go to someone's house in Queens and watch!

Thanks for supporting home-grown horror!

More Updates!

Hey everyone!

More good news - we've entered the 2008 lottery to get on QPTV. We're a little farther down on the list than we wanted to be, but the good news is that Vinnie, the host of Sci Fi Ninja Theater, has offered to interview a bunch of us for his show and to feature clips of zh:COD in between interview clips. We are psyched and grateful, and will keep you posted on that as it develops. In the meantime, make sure to catch Sci Fi Ninja Theater, check out his site, and support Vinny!

We've premiered the episode for some folks, and it's receiving great reviews. The combination of the unsettling music and battle scenes with the ravenous zombies really seems to hit it out of the park. This is unlike anything you've seen on public access, people!

We're scouting locations for November and December right now, so if anyone out there has some suggestions, post them in the Comments section. We will credit you if we go with your idea!

We're also in the process of booking our table for April's Chiller Theatre show, so mark your calendars - exact date hasn't been announced yet, but whenever it is, we'll be there with DVDs, t-shirts, and other undead goodness.

Zombie Hunters: City of the Dead Teaser 1

Where will YOU be when it all comes down?

We're back! Yeah, it's been a while, but we've had a grueling production schedule to follow. It's been worth it, though - check out the teaser trailer and tell us otherwise!

Things have been ramping up over here at Zombie Hunters Central - we were at the Chiller Theatre convention a few weeks ago, walking around and promoting the show to everyone we could grab a hold of. We have the first episode on DVD almost ready to go - more info that as it develops.

Mark your calendars for April 2008 - that's the next Chiller Expo, and we will be there with a table full of DVD and t-shirt-y goodness.

Watch this space for daily updates!

NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH NEWS FLASH

Good news from the ZOMBIE HUNTERS front!

First of all, the show has been slightly renamed. From today on, the full title of the show is:

And we've finally got access to some pics of the set locations from the first episode, where we'll see Billy, Bates, and John going on their first major hunt! We'll be bringing you video of the show when the producers release it, but until then, check out some of these creepy shots!

Christopher "Bates" Murphy inspecting one of the sets with a location technician. Weeks of preparations go into each location used on the show!

As you can see, the Hunters are going to have a tough time surviving THIS one! We'll have more pics and video to show you in the weeks to come. Until then, keep checking in with us, and help spread the word!

A Taste Of Things To Come!

Hello fellow Zombiephiles!

Welcome to our Blog, the first one dedicated solely to the TV show "Zombie Hunters", a new series of Modern Horror. The story takes place in today's New York City, or someplace quite like it, in which the dead have returned from the grave to devour the living!!! Each episode follows the bloody work of Billy Cassidy, John Salazar, Paul Michael Bates, and their team of hunters as they try to save themselves and their city from certain doom. The nightmare is also seen through the eyes of others involved, victims of the tragedy, and through the TV itself as Channel 17 anchorpersons Brock Denworth and Nina Chu report nightly on the strange phenomenon from their Midtown studios!

Principal photography for the show began on August 12th, 2006, in Manhattan. Composed of a small cast and crew ranging from amateur to professional, their mission is quite simple: to bring a quality series to the public for free, and to give something back to the international horror community in general.

Of course, the mission of the hunters themselves isn't quite that altruistic: THEIR mission is to rid the city of the undead, and avoid the misguided public and authorities, through any means necessary.

And believe us, it's not going to be pretty.

SO, check back with us from time to time for new pictures and updates on what we're sure will be your favorite new show!! And look for them in the Spring of 2007, when the first episode will be broadcast on Queens Public Access (QPTV) and Manhattan Public Access. Also, as each episode is completed, it will be posted on YouTube (and other access venues) in keeping with the Producers' shared view that everyone should be able to enjoy scary TV for free!

Thank you, and enjoy!
